Get Your Hillbilly Rain Boots - It's Gonna Be A Shit Storm!
The last couple of weeks have turned out to be pretty decent. I hooked up with an old 'friend with benefits' and broke my fucking bed! Hell yes! Go big or go home! Nobody does it better...let me tell you! I do believe he is back on my schedule after that! So much fun being single sometimes.
At work they dialed back the stupidity and reverted a process that coulda/shoulda worked, but absolutely didn't. Another Hell yes! I'd love to say that this has improved the stupidity of some people, however I cannot - at least not with a straight face.
I had applied for an internal job and didn't get it. Mostly because I really didn't want it, I'll be honest about that. I was kinda mad about being taken for granted in my current position and it seems that was the nudge that everyone needed. Wasn't exactly my intention, but it sure has worked out in my favor. Hopefully my not-so-prudish-yet-really-uptight coworker will go on her kid-sprouting leave sooner rather than later and I can get her shift. Can't wait for her to go shift or not - she's so irritating. She's not a horrible person or anything, don't get me wrong. She's one of those people who if they were to fall into a crocodile pit, you wouldn't miss. I sure won't miss being told that I am going to burn in hell, etc, etc, etc. Not sure when she went and got all religious, since she's and unwed mother of 1.5. Too hilariously ridiculous for words.
Another person I 'work' with has announced her engagement. This person is the epitome of white trash. Seriously. Well, that's not entirely fair. She did get dentures so she has that going for her. She has issues with showering, as in she doesn't do it regularly. She's always scratching and stuff. Just yuck! I think they only have 4 more easy payments of $29.95 to go until it's fully paid off. Balding, no teeth, smelly - should be a match made in, um - I'm not sure. It's not going to be pretty, let me tell you! She's apparently looking at wedding dresses designed for petite framed women. She's very much a plus size. YIKES! Only thing creepier than the mental image you currently have is the hubby to be. He's also very much a redneck. Well, if you search Google images for redneck wedding, you'll get where I'm going with it. Just thinking about it sends a shiver up my spine.
Anywho, the last few days have been really busy. Really Busy = Staying Employed. Can't say how thankful I am for that! If we're busy that usually means that there is a demand and since we just hired a bunch of new people I can feel a little secure in the knowledge that I will not come to work for my next shift and be out of a job. A few years ago I would never have believed that would happen. Today, I would not be shocked by anything. I still hope for the best though.
At least I still have something pretty to look at here. Total eye candy! Not sure what's going on there, but he's pretty to look at. I would absolutely never go there now - due to certain events. Yuck! I don't need those kind of cooties!
